My favourite thing I found recently was a vintage/antique scales. It was a belated birthday present to myself and was obtained from an antique store!!!

Ive been having a bit of a shopping spree of late. Picking up things from my local op shops, the hard rubbish and garage sales. I bought the blue glass for my daughter who may use it for decoration in her room from an op shop. From a different one I got the glass dish. The patterns/books came from a garage sale and they were 20c each. The MDF cutlery box was from the hard rubbish. It is going to be painted white and pink/gold edges. It will then hold my op shopped vintage silver cutlery to use in high tea parties.

Hi Natallie, I just noticed that you added yourself to my followers list today, thank you. Wow, you have found some amazing finds, especially in the hard rubdish. How could anyone throw away a mannequin , that fab birdhouse or the laundry trolley. I love laundry trolleys, I have one and I love it. I will add you to my blog list so others can find you too. Its nice to meet you. Tamara
